Job Requirements:
- Associate member of CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA with 5 years of post-qualifying experience in a related business.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and other accounting software.
- Experience in stock management, import costing, and bank negotiations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the automobile industry would be an added advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and present the Balance Sheet.
- Develop and manage monthly and annual budgets, ensuring accurate financial forecasting.
- Oversee cash flow management to ensure financial stability and proper allocation of resources.
- Handle daily stock management and conduct month-end stock valuation.
- Negotiate financial facilities with banks to optimize funding solutions.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare import costing and manage LC/TT applications to ensure smooth import operations.
- Coordinate with auditors and finalize the year-end audit to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Conduct debtor meetings and manage debtor collections to ensure timely payments and reduce outstanding balances.
