Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly profit & loss statements and present the balance sheet to support financial transparency and strategic decision-making.
- Develop, monitor, and manage monthly and annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial efficiency.
- Oversee cash flow operations to maintain financial stability and support day-to-day business activities.
- Negotiate and secure financial facilities with banking partners, optimizing funding solutions to support business growth.
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare detailed import costing and manage LC/TT applications, ensuring smooth and compliant import operations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate the finalization of year-end audits.
- Lead debtor meetings and implement effective strategies for debtor collections, improving cash flow and reducing outstanding receivables.
- Prepare Project Estimations and Budgets.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Full or part qualification in CA / CIMA with a degree in Accountancy or Finance from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience as an Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and other Accounting Software.
- Experience in stock management, import costing, and bank negotiations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
