Assistant Manager – Human Resources

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Assistant Manager – Human Resources to join our HR team. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong experience in recruitment, employee relations, training coordination, and HR compliance. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the overall HR strategy and fostering a positive workplace culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing candidates through recruitment agencies, conducting interviews, and ensuring compliance with company hiring policies.

  • Advise Line Managers on HR best practices, company policies, and labor legislation to ensure fair and consistent employee management.

  • Act as a point of contact for employees, offering guidance on employment-related matters, and maintaining healthy employee relations.

  • Plan and organize employee engagement and morale-boosting activities, including corporate events and celebrations.

  • Coordinate and oversee training programs, including induction sessions and other local or international group training initiatives.

  • Handle employee grievances with empathy and professionalism, ensuring fair resolution and maintaining workplace harmony.

  • Conduct and manage disciplinary procedures, including formal inquiries, and liaise with relevant government institutions for any labor-related matters.


Candidate Profile:

  • A Degree or relevant professional qualification in Human Resources Management.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a reputed organization as a Senior HR Executive, or 2 years in a similar Assistant Manager capacity.

  • Proven experience and strong skills in talent acquisition are essential.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).

  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a high degree of independence, initiative, and discretion.
