Assistant Sales Manager – Public Sector

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in developing and executing sales strategies targeting government ministries, state institutions, and public-sector organizations.
  2. Maintain and grow strong relationships with existing public-sector clients while identifying new business opportunities.
  3. Support the Sales Manager in preparing proposals, tenders, quotations, and presentations.
  4. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions, proposals, and post-sales support.
  5. Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and public-sector procurement processes.
  6. Track sales performance, generate reports, and provide insights to help achieve overall sales targets.
  7. Participate in promotional activities, events, and meetings related to public-sector engagements.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Minimum G.C.E. A/L qualification; a degree or professional qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management is an advantage.
  2. Minimum 2–4 years of experience in sales or business development (experience in public-sector sales is a strong advantage).
  3. Strong understanding of government procurement processes and tender procedures.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. Ability to build long-term professional relationships and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  7. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  8. Age preferably below 35 years.

 

  1. Salary – Depends on Experience and Qualifications / Salary starting from 150,000.00 + Vehicle allowance and fuel.
  2. Working Days & time – Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. - 5.30 p.m. Saturday Half Day 8.30 a.m. - 1.30 p.m.
  3. Working Type – Onsite / Field
