Job Summary
The Cloud Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions that meet client requirements and align with organizational goals. This role collaborates closely with clients, sales, and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures. The architect ensures best practices for cloud adoption, deployment, and operations across platforms such as AWS,
Azure, or Google Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect cloud solutions based on client requirements, including infrastructure, platform, and application services.
- Collaborate with sales and presales teams to provide technical guidance during proposals and client engagements.
- Evaluate existing IT environments and recommend cloud migration strategies, hybrid solutions, or modernization plans.
- Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Develop detailed architectural diagrams, documentation, and deployment guides.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development, operations, and implementation teams.
- Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.
- Participate in proof-of-concepts (POCs), pilots, and technical presentations for clients.
- Optimize cloud costs, performance, scalability, and reliability of deployed solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, design, or implementation.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with cloud migration, infrastructure as code (IaC), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Understanding of networking, security, identity management, and compliance in cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are preferred.
