Factory Manager – Packaging

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Factory Manager – Packaging to lead the daily operations of our polythene bag production facility. This is a key leadership role where you will manage production planning, ensure quality and compliance, and drive collaboration across departments to meet business goals and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily packaging operations, including production planning and order fulfillment for polythene bag manufacturing.

Ensure quality control, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the facility.

Supervise equipment maintenance activities to reduce downtime and optimize operational efficiency.

Manage procurement and inventory, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and accurate stock tracking.

Collaborate closely with Sales, R&D, and Marketing teams to align production with market needs and support innovation.

Lead, train, and motivate the production team to cultivate a high-performance culture.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in production management within polythene manufacturing or packaging, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, workflow optimization, and quality assurance standards.

Proven leadership and team management skills.

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.

Ability to handle multiple projects and work effectively in cross-functional teams.

An established customer base in the packaging or related industry would be a strong advantage.
