Financial Business Analyst

Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and financial ratios, to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to gather and document business requirements for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Prepare comprehensive project feasibility reports and presentations for senior management, outlining project objectives, risks, financial projections, and recommended courses of action.
- Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to support decision-making and provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications for financial systems and tools.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations to evaluate the financial impact of proposed initiatives and investments.
- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings, insights, and recommendations.
- Support the implementation and testing of financial systems and process improvements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and support to finance teams and end users to ensure effective utilization of financial systems and tools.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in finance and analytics, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance financial performance.
- Assess the feasibility of proposed finance projects by conducting thorough analysis of project scope, objectives, resource requirements, and financial implications.
- Develop detailed project plans and budgets, and monitor project progress against key milestones and deliverables.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to evaluate the potential impact of different factors on project outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project success criteria and KPIs, and establish mechanisms for ongoing project monitoring and evaluation.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Should have an international exposure in supporting business development team.
- Good experience in mergers and acquisition business analysis.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Financial Analyst, with a strong track record of financial analysis and project delivery.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with
- cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience with financial systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
