About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Head of QA – Automation & AI Testing to lead our Quality Assurance function and drive quality engineering excellence across complex enterprise engagements.This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on solving challenging problems. You'll define the overall QA strategy, lead modern automation initiatives, and leverage AI-driven testing approaches while remaining actively involved in technical decision-making.The ideal candidate can confidently step into complex enterprise environments, assess existing quality practices, and build scalable, pragmatic testing strategies that improve software quality and delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the Quality Assurance strategy across multiple enterprise projects and client engagements.
- Design and implement scalable, AI-assisted test automation frameworks that support long-term engineering success.
- Establish best practices across functional, automation, API, performance, and security testing.
- Lead automation as a core engineering discipline and continuously improve testing standards and processes.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, helping engineering teams adopt a quality-first mindset.
- Collaborate closely with senior clients, delivery teams, architects, and software engineers to develop practical quality strategies.
- Identify quality risks early and implement effective solutions to support reliable software delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement by promoting modern Quality Engineering practices across the organization.
- Stay hands-on by contributing to automation development, reviewing technical solutions, and resolving complex quality challenges.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a senior Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering leadership role such as Head of QA, Head of Quality Engineering, QA Practice Lead, QE Manager, or Principal Quality Engineer.
- Extensive experience leading enterprise Quality Assurance strategies across complex software environments.
- Strong expertise in test automation and designing scalable automation frameworks.
- Experience applying AI-assisted or AI-native testing approaches to improve test coverage and engineering efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of functional, API, performance, and security testing.
- Ability to design quality strategies from the ground up for complex enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and modern software engineering practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence technical and business leaders.
- Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to solving quality challenges.
