IT Manager (Infrastructure, Microsoft 365 & Security)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager (Infrastructure, Microsoft 365 & Security) to lead and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, and information security initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and performance of IT services while aligning technology solutions with business objectives.

This role requires a strong technical background in infrastructure management, Microsoft 365 administration, networking, cybersecurity, and IT governance, combined with excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and enterprise applications.
  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, switching, and routing environments.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of all IT systems and services.
  • Monitor infrastructure capacity and recommend upgrades or enhancements to support business growth.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
  • Manage user provisioning, licensing, access controls, security policies, and compliance settings.
  • Implement and maintain Microsoft 365 security and governance best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365-related technical issues.
  • Safeguard organizational IT assets through effective access controls, security policies, and monitoring mechanisms.
  • Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives, risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response activities.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices related to information security.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee daily IT operations, including electronic data processing and end-user support services.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, and operational guidelines.
  • Conduct periodic audits, reviews, and performance assessments of IT systems and controls.
  • Manage vendor relationships, support contracts, and service providers to ensure effective delivery of IT services.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and deliver technology solutions that support organizational objectives.
  • Support Dynamics 365 administration, including user management, role-based access controls, and coordination with implementation partners or consultants.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Support or develop business applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and related technologies) where applicable.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT staff and service providers.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across IT operations and service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders on IT performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead problem resolution efforts and ensure timely remediation of operational and technical issues.

Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in IT management, infrastructure management, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • IT infrastructure and systems administration
    • Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
    • Networking technologies (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, switching, and routing)
    • Windows Server environments
    • Databases including SQL Server and Azure SQL
    • Information security principles and best practices
  • Proven hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 services, including:
    • Exchange Online
    • Microsoft Teams
    • SharePoint Online
    • OneDrive for Business
    • Microsoft Entra ID
    • Microsoft Security & Compliance solutions
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, security monitoring, and incident response.
  • Experience working with Dynamics 365, including user administration, role management, and vendor coordination.
  • Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, or Infrastructure technologies will be an added advantage.
