SSE / ATL - Node /React /Next.js

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript, React, and Next.js

  • Implement robust APIs and document them using OpenAPI or tRPC standards

  • Integrate and optimize relational databases (Postgres) using ORM/query tools such as Sequelize, Slonik, or Prisma

  • Develop and maintain both server-side and client-side application logic, ensuring seamless integration and performance

  • Deploy and manage applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes

  • Operate comfortably within Google Cloud Platform, leveraging its services for application deployment and scaling

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

  • Balance legacy code maintenance with the development of new, greenfield solutions

  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in web development.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript

  • Proficiency in frontend development using React and Next.js, including SSR and SSG concepts

  • Strong experience with relational databases (Postgres) and query tools such as Sequelize, Slonik, or Prisma

  • Experience with API design and documentation, particularly using OpenAPI or tRPC

  • Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments

  • Experience deploying and managing applications in a Google Cloud environment

  • Ability to maintain and refactor legacy code while developing new features and applications

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred/Bonus Skills

  • Experience with tRPC, Prisma, or migrating systems to type-safe architectures

  • Familiarity with additional cloud providers or CI/CD pipelines.

  • Exposure to automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).

  • Experience with authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT)
