Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript, React, and Next.js

Implement robust APIs and document them using OpenAPI or tRPC standards
-
Integrate and optimize relational databases (Postgres) using ORM/query tools such as Sequelize, Slonik, or Prisma
-
Develop and maintain both server-side and client-side application logic, ensuring seamless integration and performance
-
Deploy and manage applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
-
Operate comfortably within Google Cloud Platform, leveraging its services for application deployment and scaling
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
-
Balance legacy code maintenance with the development of new, greenfield solutions
-
Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in web development.
Required Skills & Experience
-
3+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript
-
Proficiency in frontend development using React and Next.js, including SSR and SSG concepts
-
Strong experience with relational databases (Postgres) and query tools such as Sequelize, Slonik, or Prisma
-
Experience with API design and documentation, particularly using OpenAPI or tRPC
-
Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments
-
Experience deploying and managing applications in a Google Cloud environment
-
Ability to maintain and refactor legacy code while developing new features and applications
-
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred/Bonus Skills
-
Experience with tRPC, Prisma, or migrating systems to type-safe architectures
-
Familiarity with additional cloud providers or CI/CD pipelines.

Exposure to automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).

Experience with authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT)
